By having a bunch of sound files where the volume is increasing the progressive sound can be faked just by scheduling more local notifications. After 5 seconds more the sound will be played again. He has divided the alarm sounds into chunks of say 10 s each with progressive volume levels. By scheduling many local notifications, one after each other. That said you can probably fake a progressive alarm by doing what the developer of Progressive Alarm Clock do to play the progressive alarm. ![]() I would say what you want to do is not possible with the current restrictions of iOS. For example, Night Stand HD can play iPod music while in the background, and an app named "Progressive Alarm Clock" can play progressive sound while in the background.Īny ideas and suggestions on these issues? Any of your help will be greatly appreciated I also can't understand how some other apps are doing some of these features. However according to Apple's documentation iPod music playing(and use of shared resources) is still not allowed for an app that is playing background audio. But again how will I know if user cancelled the local notification alert and stop playing audio. Now I'm thinking of using background audio playing option and play silence until the alarm time, and then play the alarm sound while also showing a local notification without sound. Also you are not get notified when the user cancels the notification alert, iOS just stops playing your sound. Moreover, alarm sound must be played in background in a loop until the user cancels or wakes the app.įirst logical thing that came to my mind was to use local notifications, but with local notifications you can play sound files that are only in app bundle(not iPod music) and that are at most 30 seconds long. Alarm sound can be set to play as progressive. Alarm sound can be a music from the user's iPod library, and also some sound files in application bundle. ![]() I need to play selected alarm sound whenever the alarm time comes with some properties set by the user. If you do though, you get an exclusive art piece, which is just a white box with the detective pikachu logo on it. Stuff like removing your tracking info, and recently, the app thinks that the Sword & Shield promos are no apart of Detective Pikachu and you must scan them to unlock them. Not to mention bugs and glitches are very common. There’s also some gaps in the Sun & Moon promo lists. They do have the promos but they never seem to update them. I used Pokéllector to track my cards before and now I still have to keep it on standby because this app only includes everything X&Y and above and nothing else. But they’ve added support for X&Y and of course Sword & Shield. When I downloaded it at the time, it was just Sun & Moon. I downloaded this app because I thought it was going to have everything. I’ve been collecting Pokémon cards since 2017. Another is that it’s only the cards released since their sun and moon sets, but that might just be as a start and older card sets will be added in the future. ![]() Though you can go into the separate categories to see what cards you have in that collection, there isn’t a place that just shows all the cards you have. Different times I scanned I was given different lists (one time the real version was the only option I got and other times it wasn’t.) likely this can be based on lighting and the angle it was scanned at. I mainly had forbidden light cards and when scanning magnemite, it gave me the ultra prism version which is a different type (steel not electric) when I said it wasn’t my card, I was given options of cards it likely was. I’m not sure how the cards are scanned but it works well. One thing I noticed was that it may be hard to scan the cards on certain backgrounds, but once you find a good background, it’s easy from there. I had a number of sun and moon cards that I started to scan. I got this the day it was announced and decided to test it out. ![]() |
